Since our inception in 2006, we have developed a hands-on model for building a business which emphasizes a down to earth approach in providing the right mix of strategic guidance, hands-on leadership and analytical framework to develop innovative and market-leading organizations. At BlackCreek, we work hard to build value in each of our companies. That value is reflected in our track record, our organizational structure, our team-oriented approach, and in the way that we operate every day. We are not an investment bank, a private equity fund or a venture capital firm.  We take a long-term and relationship-oriented approach to investment, partnership and business development by building businesses one at a time.  We can be involved in the early stages of a company’s development as an advisor or Director and potentially an angel investor (see Icebreaker) or in most cases our team will become permanent members of the senior management team, as well as serving on the Board of Directors.
